Charlie Ottaviano was a rare jewel to LA and to the World.  Having the strength and tenacity to open and run a jazz club with his wife Jo-Ann seven nights a week alone is highly commendable.  In this day and age to have a nightclub where musicians can play, gang out, have fun, have some great food and listen to some legendary old and new talent is definitely a true blessing.  This recording was made possible only because of this man’s unselfish desire to let the music be heard and to pass it on from generation to generation the way it’s supposed to be.Charlie, you have done a great thing for everyone and we dedicate this recording in honor of you.
