Brandino's Recovery Project 2018

Kevin Charles “Brandino” Brandon, famed master bassist and producer, is no stranger to life’s obstacles. His storied career is an inspirational example to other handicapped musicians and the very reason for the existence of his non-profit organization YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU TRY.ORG to help inner-city kids.Brandino’s newest hurdle is that he has been recovering from a UTI since falling ill on Easter of 2017.

Unfortunate complications from his illness have left him wheelchair-bound and unable to walk on his own. Ever the optimist, indomitable and entrepreneurial, Brandino had an idea to get him motivated and back to playing music as he has done for over 50 years. Why not record a duet album with the help of his friends and ask for support in this endeavor if there was interest in the idea?After consulting with his fellow brilliant musician friends and accomplices and finding there was actually great interest in joining the project, Brandino’s Recovery Project is becoming a reality. Without dropping any names, this project will feature many renowned world-class musicians from all music styles and genres.If you too would like to lend your support to this worthy and mind-blowing labor of love it would be greatly appreciated—anything helps, even just your good wishes.
